About

I am Ingrid Rizzolo, wife of a loving husband and mother to two adult children. I am also  an educator and an emerging writer of lyrical verse as penned in my book Splendor from Ashes. As one of the millions of women who have been victims of domestic violence, I open my heart in my poetry  and other writings to honestly and authentically reveal the pain fear and confusion born out of abuse as a means of identifying with victims of abuse and showing that there is a possible journey to wholeness

On a lighter side I am also a marathoner and dramatist who is at home on the stage as in the classroom . I can be described as a fitness enthusiast and marathoner.  This does not in any way compromise the fact that I care deeply for others  and would like to be afforded the opportunity to wipe away some of the pain from this world if I can. I hope to contribute in some way to make this world a better place.
